ABOUT

Martine Rosenberg is a New York State licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in Manhattan and Long Island. Martine has been working with children, adolescents and adults for over a decade. She provides individual and group therapy and coaching for individuals, couples and families, who are in the midst of major life transitions, choices and challenges, and need support navigating.

Martine received her Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University with a major in Psychology.

Martine believes in a strengths-based approach to therapy.  She tailors her approach to meet the individual needs of her clients while creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment that encourages a sense of comfort and trust.  Martine draws from a wealth of knowledge and experience as she has worked closely with individuals and families in a variety of settings.  This includes private practices, outpatient mental health clinics, schools, and community based organizations. Martine incorporates elements from her training, education, and own life experiences to help her clients overcome life’s roadblocks and obstacles in order to live the life in a more comfortable and fulfilling way.

As a native New Yorker, Martine understands the pressures, challenges, and stress that society can bring. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it is easy to forget about your needs.  Martine provides her clients the space to explore their worries and frustrations and support them through life’s challenges and transitions.

Martine is also the co-founder of Teenz In The City, a social skills/life skills program for teenagers and young adults with special needs. Additionally, she held the role of Director of Transition and Guidance for a Private School in New York City; and provided support and guidance to middle and high school students and their families through the challenging years of adolescence.

Martine is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and is registered as a licensed professional with the New York State Education Department’s Office of the Professions.

Martine has completed a training at the Seleni Institute for pregnant and/or postpartum women to screen for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
